First trip back to the Renaissance Festival in a millennium
Head straight to the Mint just like old times
First time for the option of a $5 penny sized coin

Next stop is the Salsa Shack for Phoenix Fire
Get some chicken on a stick to dip it in
Jeff finds a client from his Barbarian contract
David fetches a Scotch Egg to go with today's theme
Hard boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat & breadcrumbs
Back to the entrance to get an official 2011 Mug
It is my mug now!
Big Barbarian starts the Renaissance Parade
Costumes both in and out of the parade
Today's theme is Scotland, hence the Scottish flag
The Scottish ladies sport their bows
Swordsman always follow the ladies in bows!
Jousters are next in line, England and France
Every parade has blatant advertisements
It has got to be hard to walk with hands that big!
The chainmail voyeurs let it hang
Helmeted Barbarians show off their leather
Good Germans bring us sausage on a stick & pretzels
The Lords and Ladies could use a sausage on a stick
Renaissance Girl Scouts show off their merit badges
The Queen and King finalize the parade, Jolly Good!
Head toward The Tower Stage for German food
The Black Forest Inn will have many options for us
David chooses the Black Forest Inn's Reuben Sandwich
Kraut, Brot, Mustard, and bread . . . so fine!
Don't forget the the place with the good grub

30 minutes later, the jousting show begins
The German Maiden is introduced first
The French Maiden fires up our section
The King & Queen arrive to witness the competition
The German Knight enters the arena first
The Spanish Knight enters the arena next
Our third knight represents England
The final knight represents our section
He promises a Victory for France
Popcorn salesman have brisk sales throughout the show
The four champions hear the rules before the King
Swordfighting starts the show until all are disarmed
Gather your helmet and pole to start the joust
Spain and England joust, the english pole splinters
England and Germany both need another jousting pole
England knocks France off his mount
Spain knocks England off his mount
Spain is the winner of the joust
But is demounted by England with a dropped joust pole
A swordfight ensues
But the match is called a draw and the show ends
The swordshop in a boat has no gifts for little girls
Impressive boat caters to adults with strange hobbies
Fish & chips are pricey at the Sea Devil Tavern
Rebecca buys a wooden mug next to the corset shop
Look for good food & beer in The Agora
Parthenon has the most taps and slowest service
Find Sausage & Steak outside of the Greek area
