Lexi's 7th Birthday Party - March 6th, 2016
Over to Lexi's house to celebrate her 7th birthday
Pogo sticks are becoming a thing and all the girls bounce
The first activity is ready to go but first a few ground rules
Start with an easter egg hunt but stop after finding 12 eggs
The girls run and scoop up eggs throughout the yard
Erin follows Lexi, who knows where the good ones are hidden
Tree house and swimming pool platform are clear of eggs!
Over to the table to work on some crafts
The girls decorate large hanging easter egg decorations
They busily glue on decorations and color their eggs
Lexi works from the top down as her brother Brady watches
Circle around the table to check on everyone's progress
Erin, Evie and Alex are just about done and ready for the next event
The girls line up for the obstacle course and Lexi will go first
And she is off! Running through the ladder with ease
Through the hula hoops before the final sprint to the finish
After finishing, Lexi helps guide her friends through the course
Erin's turn and she climbs the stairs and prepares to slide down
Evie finishes the slide and will hurdle the big tube next
Alex walks the beam with ease after much practice in gymnastics
Alex clears the final tube walkthrough and heads toward the hula hoops
Erin bounces across the finish line and will line up to run it again
Lexi takes a final run before moving onto the next activity
Next, the girls will paint an easter egg and a hanging bumble bee
Erin, Evie and Alex are hard at work on the bumble bee
Crafts, exercise, and more crafts make the perfect birthday party
First the bee, then the egg
A whole box of fun for everyone at Lexi's birthday party
Time for more exercise with a group jump in the trampoline
I think we need some whacking sticks to liven it up!
Chaperones watch for concussions
The pizza arrives and is served with fruit, nuts and chips
Alex, like her daddy, goes straight to the Cheetos Puffs
The girls make a plate and enjoy it outside on the backporch
Great party Lexi, having fun and enjoying a meal!
Back inside to sing Happy Birthday and blow out candles
A first at the girls' birthday parties, a big chocolate chip cookie cake
Back outside to enjoy chocolate chip cookie with a whole lot of icing
Party concludes back on the trampoline and Alex flying her Nimbus 2000
Happy Birthday Lexi (and Uncle Jerry) . . . and Remember the Alamo!
