Celebrate Alex's 9th birthday at Rain Forest Cafe Galleria
We venture into town to a midpoint for Ahma to meet us

It's a Cinderella Stamp 'n Design Studio with little sewing machine!

Next is a gift from Ahma, carefully untie the strings
It is two gifts tied together, will open the top one first
I love it, a 3 level bunk bed for dolls! Still in Ahma's car trunk
And a Discovery Kids Camera, Flashlight and Compass . . . fun!
Next we open the gift from Go-Go, what is that wonderful smell?
It's a Cabbage Patch Farm Friend doll that smells like vanilla, mmmmm
Both girls get one more small package from Ahma
A necklace to go with all the long pants daddy didn't photo
Suddenly, the rain forest wakes up and the monkeys dance and hoot
And the cheetah growls and pops his tail for two full minutes
Thank you Ahma for the gifts! We love them and you
Daddy's fish tacos with rice and beans arrive, give one to mommy
Too full for the volcano cake, settle for a cupcake with sparkler
Alex still gets the Happy Birthday tribute from the Rain Forest staff
Then family sings Happy Birthday to her with a little candle cupcake
Make a wish and blow out the candle
Erin got an oreo chocolate pudding that looks like dirt with worms
Alex licks off all the icing . . . here daddy, want a cupcake?
Nope, instead I'll empty out the take-home icee cups & go wash them out
I forgot how icees always give me a B R A I N F R E E Z E
Did the ceiling sky turn red or is the brainfreeze pain that intense?
Girls have a brief shopping spree at Claire's next door
Meanwhile, on the ice rink, Elsa skates solo to a familiar song
She proves once again that the cold never bothered her anyway
Another birthday girl gets to skate with Elsa during the "Snowman" song
The girls would like to try ice skating but the adults are too full (and old)
Back home to play with Cinderella's Stamp 'n Design Studio
Erin gets out her sewing machine Christmas present . . . fun!
Alex opens up a birthday gift a day before her actual birthday
Both girls love the Lego building sets currently, the more the better!
Present Alex a birthday breakfast treat, a King Cake for Epiphany
What is it? I don't know, a cinnamon roll, with a plastic baby in it?
Cut a big slice of green & yellow iced cinnamon roll . . . so good
Alex loves it, so of course, Erin doesn't
The girls get dressed for school, looking good!
Take Alex to school with 3 big boxes of iced cookies for her classmates
Head to Dairy Queen for the "cake" portion of Alex's birthday
The girls try and love the steak finger basket and add a nacho basket
The girls blow off an official "cake" and get an oreo cookie blizzard
