Visit the Old 1858 Courthouse in Warren County, Mississippi

Now a museum in the heart of city of Vicksburg & 1863 Civil War battle

Founded by Rev. Vick in 1820 on the site of a Spanish Fort

The courthouse is raised up on a small & steep hill

1863 3-inch Ordnance Rifle watches over visitors' vehicles

Directly across Cherry Street is the "new" Warren County Courthouse

An art deco masterpiece built in 1940 before another war

Memorial to the 31st Infantry that served in four wars

With art deco details in the masonry and metal work of the facade

Built with Federal Works Agency dollars during FDR's presidency

Mississippi's Warren County Courthouse would be worth visiting

Even without its spectacular neighbor to the west
