Ms. Byars-Green introduces the Creekside Players' American Bandstand

Jill & Mary, at home watching TV, start with I Only Want to Be With You

At the studio, Floor Director Erin does a mike check before going on the air

"Let's do this!" and she high-five the studio guard

Big hair Don Clark starts the broadcast with Hooked on a Feeling

Erin calls the studio back from commercial break with Bandstand Boogie

ABBA sings Dancing Queen

And then the Jackson Five sing ABC

Don Clark next introduces the song Mr. Sandman

1st commericial break for is for Rocky's Soda Shop featuring Lollipop

Johnny & Danny call Jill & Mary to sneak out and come to the studio

With the band in place, Erin counts down the return to live TV

The show keeps the music flowing when they go to The Chapel of Love

Next is a tribute to the Red, White & Blue; Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy

A sailor from Texas, Yeehaw!, sings Chantilly Lace to his girl

Danny sings Tell It Like It Is about Jill & Mary

Then hippies rush the stage and sing Teach the World to Sing

And segue to War before being escorted off the stage

Erin brings the show back from commercial break

And Aretha Franklyn comes out with her singers to perform Respect

Mary is joined in singing Don't Talk to the Lifeguard

The studio rushes the dance floor to move to the Twist

Greyson tries to woo Jill with Elvis' Falling in Love with You

The audience takes the stage and Rocks Around the Clock

Coaches Hughes, Butler and Mr. Falknor are Bill Haley & the Comets

Jill & Johnny are featured during the Bee Gees How Deep is Your Love

Back at home, mama and Papa Loves Mambo

An annonymous caller alerts her parents that Jill is at American Bandstand

Don Clark keeps the party going by announcing Hand Jive and the audience jumps up and joins in

The Shangri-Las sing about The Leader of the Pack riding his motorcycle

She begged him to drive slow on that rainy night, but alas, he didn't and died

Sha Na Na taunts the unemployed with Get A Job

The Nerd tries to pick up Jill with Do You Love Me?

Jill & Johnny make up to the Nerd's disappointment

Jill tells the Nerd My Boyfriend's Back and you're gonna be in trouble

Johnny is so happy that he belts out I Feel Good !

Jill overly relishes the fact that it is now Judy's Turn to Cry

But Judy gets over it quick with Mamma Said there will be days like this

The Nerd completes the turnaround and Judy is happy again

Mom, Dad & Grandma come to the station and Shout at Jill for sneaking out

The Hippies sing For What its Worth by Buffalo Springfield

The cop shows the hippies her type of music is Play That Funky Music

The King is introduced and he rocks the house with Jailhouse Rock

Mom, Dad & Grandma forgive Jill for getting to see Elvis

The final song of the broadcast is The Locomotion

And the cast's locomotion line dance takes them clean off the stage

Don Clark calls for applause for each singing group off to the left

The parents stand and clap for each announced song group

The main cast is introduced a group at a time including Erin and the Cop

Don Clark is the last to receive individual applause

The main cast together take a bow and receive applause for their version of Blast From The Past: American Bandstand

Ms. Byars-Green thanks the parents for their kids and their attendance

Erin and her hippie friend Emily celebrate a great performance

Erin and her Theater Class finally get to perform American Bandstand after it was canceled in 2020 due to the COVID shutdown
