Visit the 1894 Caldwell County Courthouse in Lockhart

Constructed with "Muldoon Blue" sandstone quarried in Fayette County

County named for a TX Dec of Independence signer & TX Rangers commander

The courthouse received A/C and an elevator in 1969

Walk to the west side viewed from Main Street

The 3rd courthouse built here with priors constructed in 1848 & 1858

Find the CSA monument in the NW corner of the courthouse square

Tell or Sing about the glory of the men who wore the gray

Stars & bars forever casted in granite

Circle to the north side viewed from San Antonio Street

Bridge was built over the stairs to allow wheelchair entry

Caldwell County proudly stamped into the balcony railing

Cornerstone laid by the Masons back in 1893

Continue around to the NE side at Commerce Street
