The 1891 courthouse had two cornerstones, both are displayed

1891 courthouse burned within the year and was rebuilt in 1892

1892 Judge, Commissioners and Contractor listed on rebuild cornerstone

Memorial to a state trooper who died in the line of duty in 1960

K9, Rona, who also died in the line of duty and laid to rest here
