Disney World Vacation - April 20-25, 2013
Wait for the Monorail at the Polynesian Resort station
Polynesian Resort's direct Monorail access ROCKS!
Stop at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and continue on to the Magic Kingdom
Depart the monorail and advance to the park entrance
Just a security check and ticket scan away to big fun
Let the memories begin at DisneyWorld Magic Kingdom
Arrive early to get in place before the park opening
Not sure the process for getting in on our first visit
Monorail brings more visitors to the growing crowd
Characters emerge to welcome us to the park
Train arrives bringing Mickey and Disney Characters
Mickey and guest family start the countdown to opening
The park opens at 9am and we rush to the back of the park
Head down Main Street USA toward Cinderella's Castle
There it is! First time in person!
Continue on to the circus area to ride the Dumbo first
We will be the first ride today on Dumbo
The test run is conclude and we are almost ready to ride
I'm so excited! Who is Dumbo?
Erin and Donna are ready to fly their first ride today
Alex & David are ready to fly
Here we go! So much fun!

Next find a short line at the Tomorrowland Speedway
Alex gets to drive her first english car

Cross the street to It's a Small World
Long line handled by many large boats
Line moves along quickly, no fast pass needed
Get on board and listen for the famous song
No lyrics, just music in the foreign culture rooms
Finally hear the It's a Small World lyrics in the last room
Donna and Erin enjoy the sights and sounds
Alex is taking a liking to Disney World Magic Kingdom
Walk to Adventureland and find the stroller dropoff
Another dark boat ride called Pirates of the Caribbean
Grab a fast pass to Jungle Cruise by Aladdin's Carpets
Time for an ice cream break, Mickey shaped of course
David and the girls savor their Mickey Eskimo Pie
Burn some time by touring the giant tree house
Check out the huge Swiss Family Robinson treehouse
Start the tour by crossing over the creek bridge
Approach the tree with the Swiss Family seal
Look down on the creek as we gain some height

An elephant pauses to let us pass before drinking
Antelopes, giraffes and wildebeests watch us pass by
Lions take a zebra to dinner
I don't think that zebra was eating dinner with them
Rhino trees some explorers while hyenas laugh
Alligators sun themselves on the riverbank
Hippo yawns as we pass by
Canoe full of skulls does not look promising
Natives congregate in their riverside hut
Tour guide sees something scary and ducks
Passing boat earlier in the tour avoids the waterfall
Pass by an ancient asian temple
Go through a pool of frolicking elephants
Good babies stay by their momma
Mischievous elephant gathers more water to spurt at us
See another boat as we come to the end of the tour
We survive & the boat is sound enough for another tour
Next, we visit the Haunted Mansion
I'm sure the girls will love it!
Nice horse drawn hearse in front of the mansion
Comedic statues of dearly departed family members
Long line but plenty of distractions on the way
Touching the instuments has them play songs
Touch the stone organ keys and hear organ music!
The Captain will squirt you if you don't watch out
Alex pushes a book in and another pops out
Pass the graveyard as we enter another dark ride
See Bluebeard and his wives after finishing the ride
Nice view of the mansion as we head to the next ride
We are too tired to walk Huck Finn's island today
Considered riding the paddle wheeler but too late to board
Watch the Liberty Belle paddle wheeler go by
There's no time to visit the Hall of the Presidents?
Head to Cinderella's Castle, no through pass now though
Walk around the impressive castle and its tall walls
Disney Characters put on a show in front of the castle
We stop to let the girls watch the show
Princesses & Mickey's Clubhouse group gathering
Head to Tomorrowland through the gumdrop bushes
Tomorrowland, built earlier, so is it Yesterdayland now?
Fast Pass Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
Then get inline for Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor
See the Toy Story pizza palace aliens and Claw
Take the People Mover for a tour above Tomorrowland
David, Donna and Erin are people who need moving
Erin and Alex are having a great time in Tomorrowland
More People Mover in the distance before Space Mountain
Move past the Tomorrowland Speedway
Erin recalls her drive there earlier this morning

We are finally next in line and riding in back
Our biplane arrives and it is time to barnstorm!
