Friendswood 4th of July Parade 2022


Set up in front of Jado's Grill House and get ready for Fwood's 128th straight 4th of July parade

The starting police car and colors brought forth by the Knights of Columbus

KoC always carry the colors in their formal attire despite the heat

The older Knights follow behind in the parade vehicle

City Officials are next, no Grand Marshal this year due to politics

First up is Mayor Freeman driving with wife beside him

The roller bladers complete the community driveby on their way toward Stevenson Park

The football players are next on two vehicles with several actually walking!!

Double take show the crowds are flabbergasted at the sight

Enjoyed the heat so much that I go home and mow my own yard

Cleanup, grill some hotdogs & playback the Nathan's Hotdog Eating Contest

Joey Chestnutt is the favorite to win his 15th Yellow Belt today

Jaws wins with 63 dogs, 15 more than 2nd place but fewest amount since 2015
